Residential & Commercial Installers

Do you enjoy working outside on a different job site every day? Are you self-motivated and have an eye for details? We are currently seeking individuals to install our residential garage doors. Must have experience with hand and power tools, comfortable using ladders. Hours Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. Benefits and Pension available after 1 year. Preference is given to individuals with experience. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Residential & Commercial Estimators

Are you self-motivated and have a drive to succeed in sales? Do you have experience in construction, and are familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, able to read blueprints? Do you have a proven track record or previous experience? Anchor Doors & Service is looking for you. We are currently seeking Residential & Commercial Estimators to do outside sales, generate leads, and Estimate Overhead Doors, Docks, High-Speed Doors, Rolling Steel Doors, and Hollow Metal Door estimates. Salary based on experience, Company Phone, Benefits & Pension plan negotiable, Company Vehicle & Gas allowance provided. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Residential & Commercial Service Technicians

Always on the move! Anchor Doors & Service Inc. is currently seeking dedicated service technicians with some electrical knowledge to attend to a variety of residential and commercial job sites. This person will be presented with a variety of Sectional Overhead, Residential Garage Door, Rolling Steel Door, and High-speed door and operator repairs. Clean Driver’s Abstract, punctuality, and knowledge of a variety of hand & power tools required. Full-Time Permanent position, Hourly wage based on experience, company vehicle on site. Monday – Friday 8 – 4:30 pm, Some overtime & weekend service may be required. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Warehouse Worker

The warehouse associate is responsible for a variety of tasks. These tasks may include but are not limited to: Ensuring the product is in the correct location and labeled. Materials received to have the correct quantities. Pulling the next days’ garage doors for installation. Loading and unloading (manually, pump cart, forklift) of palletized shipments on trailers. Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, assisting with inventory stock counts & ordering, removing cones from springs, and making springs for garage doors. Manufacturing commercial garage door panels as required. This position is an hourly position Monday – Friday 8:00 – 4:30 pm. Regular predictable attendance is required.

Truck Washers & Cleaners

The truck washer and cleaner is a 2 person team position. You will be required to work with a partner to get all tasks completed within a 4-hour window. The truck washer must be able to drive a van or pick-up truck, use an industrial pressure washer system and other cleaning materials such as brushes, cloths, wipes, and a vacuum to keep the trucks clean and sanitized weekly. Additional tasks include sweeping the floors, emptying all refuse bins, and occasional wiping down of garage doors & windows, door frames, and light switches. Regular weekly attendance is required. Permanent Part-Time Student work on Saturdays from 8 – 12noon. Hourly Wage $15.00/hour.

Office Administration

The office receptionist will be responsible for a variety of tasks. These tasks may include but are not limited to: Answering multi-line phones, greeting customers at the door, pulling replacement parts for customers, setting up service calls, filing, writing up service calls, typing up garage door quotes, and writing up sales orders, and taking payments.

This individual should be proficient in emailing, faxing, filing, Cash, cheque & Credit Card Payments with POS machines, Microsoft Office Word / Excel / and Powerpoint. Preference is given to those with Sage or Simply accounting skills as an added asset. This is an hourly position Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Regular predictable attendance is required.
