Our flush hollow metal doors are made using high-quality 16, 18, or 20 gauge steel. Metal Door Frames

The frame products we offer include 16 and 14 gauge masonry frames and 16 and 18 gauge drywall frames in both standard and custom jamb depths. Also available are 18 gauge expandable drywall frames and 20 gauge interior drywall frames. Fire-rated doors and frames play a vital role in keeping people safe and minimizing property damage during a fire. Hollow metal is the only door material widely available with a 3-hour label.

Width Requirements

Clear Width – Door openings shall provide a clear width of 32 inches minimum and a maximum of 48 inches. Clear openings of doorways with swinging doors shall be measured between the face of the door and the stop, with the door open 90 degrees. Openings more than 24 inches deep shall provide a clear opening of 36 inches minimum.

Exception: Doors and doorways designed to be operated only by security personnel shall not be required to comply.

Double-Leaf Doors – At least one of the active leaves of doorways with two leaves shall comply.

Based on equipment usage we may recommend the following frequency of inspections: Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annually, Annually, and Bi-Annually. We include inspections, and a detailed report of your door’s health, and recommended replacement parts. If you prefer to have all the work done at one time – No problem. We are here to help when it is convenient for you.
